JEFFERSON PARISH TRANSIT RUNS SATURDAY-LEVEL SERVICE

Jefferson Parish Transit will be running Saturday Level services (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) every day until Saturday, September 18, 2021.

All Jefferson Parish Library locations are open today at normal operating hours except the following:

Individuals looking to donate to those in need are encouraged to drop off clothing at one of two donation sites in Jefferson Parish.

JEFFERSON PARISH POD SITES OPEN TODAY UNTIL 6PM

Individuals in need of ice, water, MREs and tarps should visit one of the following drive-thru locations today, September 13, 2021 before 6 p.m. (or while supplies last).

HOT LUNCH & SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION AT ESTELLE PLAYGROUND FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2021

Starting now until 2:00pm or supplies last, residents in need of a hot lunch and essential supplies can go to Estelle Playground (5801 Leo Kerner Pkwy. Marrero, LA 70072).

DRIVE THROUGH SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION AND HOT MEALS AT LAFRENIERE PARK ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2021

Second Harvest Food Bank, along with District 4 Councilman Dominick Impastato, will be distributing supplies at Lafreniere Park on Friday, September 10, 2021, starting at 8:00 a.m.

JEFFERSON PARISH GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS REOPEN ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2021

All Jefferson Parish Government buildings will reopen on Monday, September 13, 2021; however, many JPRD parks and playgrounds will remain closed due to damage as a result of Hurricane Ida.

SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION AT THE TERRYTOWN GOLDEN AGE CENTER ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2021

Starting now, Second Harvest Food Bank, along with Councilman-At-Large, Division A, Ricky Templet and District 1 Councilman Marion Edwards, will be distributing supplies at the Terrytown Golden Age Center (604 Heritage Ave, Gretna, LA 70056) until supplies last.
