According to Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joe Lopinto, Jean Lafitte Boulevard in the Town of Jean Lafitte will be closed until around 2:30 p.m. to make room for a military convoy. No vehicular traffic will be allowed through.

The Jefferson Parish Water Department is issuing a Boil Water Advisory for Grand Isle and the entire West Bank of Jefferson Parish including Westwego due to the anticipated loss of pressure in the distribution system.
