Residents in Jefferson Parish are asked to minimize wastewater leaving their homes in an effort to avoid overloading the Parish sewerage system.

JEFFERSON, LA – Jefferson Parish President Cynthia Lee Sheng has called for a mandatory curfew for all of Jefferson Parish, which will be in effect from 6 a.m. on Monday, August 30, 2021 until at least 6 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

BOIL WATER ADVISORY ISSUED FOR THE ENTIRE EAST BANK OF JEFFERSON PARISH

The Jefferson Parish Water Department is issuing a Boil Water Advisory for the entire East Bank of Jefferson Parish due to the loss of pressure in the distribution system caused by damage from Hurricane Ida.

Jefferson Parish Transit has suspended bus and paratransit services on Monday, August 30, 2021 due to the effects of Hurricane Ida.
