JEFFERSON PARISH TO HOST HEAD START JOB FAIR EVENT

The Jefferson Parish Personnel Department, in conjunction with the Jefferson Community Action Programs (JeffCAP), will be hosting an informational job fair event for all people interested in learning about job opportunities with the Jefferson Parish’s Head Start program.

JEFFERSON PARISH TO HOLD WINTER WEATHER PREP PRESS CONFERENCE ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 22, 2022 AT EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER

Jefferson Parish President Cynthia Lee Sheng will host a press conference on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 11 a.m. to discuss preparations for a rare and hazardous arctic airmass forecast to bring a multitude of dangerous conditions to the area beginning late tomorrow.

The Jefferson Parish Department of Community Development would like to remind non-profit organizations the deadline to apply for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)’s Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) and Emergency Solutions Grant (HESG) programs, in the estimated amount of $4,000,000, is Friday, January 13, 2022.
