JEFFERSON PARISH OFFICES CLOSED ON MON. JANUARY 16 IN OBSERVANCFE OF MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. HOLIDAY

All Jefferson Parish offices will be closed on Monday, January 16, 2023 in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday. This includes Jefferson Parish libraries and the Jefferson Parish Protection & Animal Welfare Services (JPAWS).

LAFRENIERE PARK SOCCER COMPLEX RECOGNIZED BY AMERICAN SPORTS BUILDERS ASSOCIATION

The American Sports Builders Association (ASBA), a national organization for builders and suppliers of materials for athletic facilities, has named Fields 7 and 8 at Lafreniere Park a 2022 Distinguished Multi-Field Facility of the Year. 

BOIL WATER ADVISORY LIFTED FOR PRIVATEER BLVD. IN BARATARIA

In conjunction with Louisiana Department of Health, the Jefferson Parish Water Department is lifting the Boil Water Advisory on January 10, 2023 for all areas off of Privateer Boulevard bounded by Hooper Street and Boffone Drive in Barataria on the West Bank based on the analysis of the bacteriological samples collected within the distribution system on January 9, 2023.

BOIL WATER ADVISORY ISSUED FOR PRIVATEER BOULEVARD IN BARATARIA

In conjunction with Louisiana Department of Health, the Jefferson Parish Water Department is issuing a Boil Water Advisory for all areas off of Privateer Boulevard bounded by Hooper Street and Boffone Drive in Barataria on the West Bank of Jefferson Parish due to a loss of pressure from a major water line break.

Today, the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans announced the teams are donating automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to the Jefferson Parish Parks & Recreation Department (JPRD).
