BOIL WATER ADVISORY LIFTED FOR PRIVATEER BLVD. IN BARATARIA

JEFFERSON, LA – In conjunction with Louisiana Department of Health, the Jefferson Parish Water Department is lifting the Boil Water Advisory on January 10, 2023 for all areas off of Privateer Boulevard bounded by Hooper Street and Boffone Drive in Barataria on the West Bank based on the analysis of the bacteriological samples collected within the distribution system on January 9, 2023.

Customers in the affected area may now use the water without boiling or disinfecting. No more precautionary actions are needed.
