DEADLINE FOR JEFFERSON PARISH NONPROFITS TO
APPLY FOR HUD FUNDING IS FRIDAY, JAN. 13, 2023

JEFFERSON, LA – The Jefferson Parish Department of Community Development would like to remind non-profit organizations the deadline to apply for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)’s Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) and Emergency Solutions Grant (HESG) programs, in the estimated amount of $4,000,000, is Friday, January 13, 2023. Annual HUD funded eligible activities for CDBG, HOME and HESG Programs include: Public Services, Housing, Economic Development, and Public Infrastructure. Eligible nonprofits that provide these type of services to low- and moderate-income individuals and families can apply through the Jefferson Parish Community Development Department.
