JEFFERSON PARISH TO HOLD WINTER WEATHER PREP PRESS CONFERENCE ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 22, 2022 AT EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER
JEFFERSON, LA – Jefferson Parish President Cynthia Lee Sheng will host a press conference on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 11 a.m. to discuss preparations for a rare and hazardous arctic airmass forecast to bring a multitude of dangerous conditions to the area beginning late tomorrow. The press conference will take place in the Ops Room on the 2nd floor of the Emergency Operations Center (910 3rd Street, Gretna 70053). This press conference will provide an opportunity for leaders to inform citizens about preparedness measures the Parish has taken and to encourage all citizens to prepare now to protect their family, friends, pets and property.
