JEFFERSON PARISH TRANSIT LAUNCHES HOLIDAY FOOD & TOY DRIVE
Jefferson Parish Transit in partnership with Casa Jefferson, Second Harvest Food Bank, Jefferson Chamber and Transdev, will be hosting its first-ever Holiday Food & Toy Drive to collect items for individuals in need throughout the months of November and December.

Residents in unincorporated Jefferson Parish and the Town of Jean Lafitte can now call the “Hurricane Zeta Storm Debris Hotline” to obtain information about debris removal.
JEFFERSON PARISH EXPANDS UTILITY PAYMENT OPTIONS THROUGH PARTNERSHIP WITH MONEYGRAM AND CHECKFREE, OFFERING 100+ NEW LOCATIONS
Jefferson Parish has partnered with bill-paying services MoneyGram and CheckFree to offer more than 100 collective locations throughout the parish for residents to pay water and utility bills.

Starting Friday, November 6, 2020, DRC Emergency Services will begin collecting storm related debris placed between the sidewalk and the street in unincorporated Jefferson Parish and in the Town of Jean Lafitte.

The Kenner North Kiwanis will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event on Friday, November 6, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
ROAD CLOSURE: SAUVE ROAD AT THE SONIAT CANAL
Starting today, November 4, 2020, Sauve Rd. at the Soniat Canal will be closed in both directions.
LANE CLOSURE: W. ESPLANADE AVENUE SOUTH AT KENT AVENUE
One east bound lane of W. Esplanade Ave. South near the intersection of Kent Ave., in Metairie, is closed until Friday, November 13, 2020.
LANE CLOSURE: W. ESPLANADE AVENUE NORTH AT CHICKASAW AVENUE
One west bound lane of W. Esplanade Ave. North near the intersection of Chickasaw Ave., in Metairie, is closed until Friday, November 13, 2020.
