ELECTION DAY IN JEFFERSON PARISH
JEFFERSON, LA – The Presidential General and Open Congressional Primary Election is today, Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Anyone in line at 8 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

The Jefferson Parish Department of General Services has worked with the Jefferson Parish Council’s “Election Integrity Committee”, Dennis DiMarco and his Registrar of Voters Office and the Department of Security to prepare for election day with COVID-19 in mind so that voting is accessible and safe for all. Polling commissioners will regularly sanitize areas and voting machines between each voter and hand sanitizer will be provided.
