BOIL WATER ADVISORY FOR GRAND ISLE LIFTED

In conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Health, the Jefferson Parish Water Department is lifting the Boil Water Advisory for Grand Isle based on the restoration of pressure within the distribution system and the analysis of the bacteriological samples collected within the distribution system.

In conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Health, the Jefferson Parish Water Department is issuing a Water Service Interruption and Boil Water Advisory for Grand Isle due to the loss of pressure in the distribution system caused by loss of power and damage to backup generator equipment.

Starting Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at 8:00 a.m., one northbound lane of Clearview Pkwy., after crossing over Veterans Blvd., will be closed on a continuous basis.

JEFFERSON PARISH LAUNCHES PROGRAMS TO VACCINATE HARD-TO-REACH GROUPS, INCLUDING A HOMEBOUND VACCINATION INITIATIVE

Jefferson Parish Government has launched a number of programs to increase access to individuals in need of a COVID-19 vaccine, including a Homebound Vaccination Program for those who are bedbound and a Paratransit Vaccination Program for those who have mobility issues.
