DEADLINE FOR JEFFERSON PARISH RESIDENTS TO APPLY FOR HURRICANE ZETA AID IS MONDAY, MARCH 15, 2021

The deadline for Jefferson Parish residents who suffered losses as a direct result of Hurricane Zeta to register for possible financial assistance is March 15, 2021.

FREE COVID-19 TESTING IN JEFFERSON PARISH (MARCH 8 – MARCH 11)

The Alario Center COVID-19 drive-thru test site is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

LANE CLOSURE: 1440 LAPALCO BOULEVARD

Starting Monday, March 8, 2021, at 7:00 a.m., one westbound lane of Lapalco Blvd. at Phillip Dr. will be closed daily from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) in collaboration with Jefferson Parish and Passport Health, will be administering the COVID-19 Johnson & Johnson vaccine on Monday, March 8, 2021 at the Alario Center (2000 Segnette Blvd, Westwego, LA 70094) by appointment only.

LANE CLOSURES WEST ESPLANADE AVENUE

Starting Friday, March 5, 2021, at 7:00 p.m., the left westbound lane of W. Esplanade Ave. at 3616 N. Causeway Blvd. and one of the north to west left turn lanes will be closed on a continuous basis.

LASALLE PARK PARKING LOT A CLOSED DUE TO COVID-19 VACCINATIONS

Starting today, Thursday, March 4, 2021, the LaSalle Park Parking Lot A will be inaccessible to the public.
