FREE COVID-19 TESTING IN JEFFERSON PARISH (MARCH 1 – MARCH 5)

The Alario Center COVID-19 drive-thru test site is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

ROAD CLOSURE: LABARRE ROAD

Starting Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 7:00 a.m., there will be a total closure of Labarre Rd. between Metairie Rd. and Manley Ave.

UPDATE - ROAD CLOSURE: SAUVE ROAD AT THE SONIAT CANAL

Starting Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at 7:00 a.m., Sauve Rd. at the Soniat Canal will be closed in both directions.

LANE CLOSURES: WEST ESPLANADE AVENUE

Starting Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 7:00 a.m., one eastbound lane and one westbound lane of W. Esplanade Ave. near Harvard Ave. will be closed on a continuous basis.

EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE W. NAPOLEON AVENUE

Starting today, Monday, February 22, 2021 at 6:00 p.m., the eastbound lanes of 4724 W. Napoleon Ave. will be closed on a continuous basis.

JEFFERSON PARISH EXTENDS DEADLINE FOR MEAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR SENIORS

Jefferson Parish will provide free meals to seniors and those most vulnerable to COVID-19 through a partnership with the federal government.

The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) in collaboration with Jefferson Parish and Passport Health, will be administering the COVID-19 Moderna vaccine on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021 at the Alario Center (2000 Segnette Blvd, Westwego, LA 70094) by appointment only.
