LANE CLOSURES: WEST ESPLANADE AVENUE

Starting Monday, April 5, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. daily, the westbound lanes of W. Esplanade Ave. by Girard Playground between St. Martin St. and Page Dr. will have alternating lane closures.

JEFFERSON PARISH OFFICES CLOSED ON FRIDAY, APRIL 2 IN OBSERVANCE OF GOOD FRIDAY

Jefferson Parish Government buildings will be closed on Friday, April 2, 2021 in observation of Good Friday.

EASTBOUND LANE OPENS ON W. NAPOLEON AVENUE

Currently, one lane eastbound of W. Napoleon Avenue, between Clearview Parkway and Transcontinental Drive, has been opened to facilitate traffic through the area.

The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) in collaboration with Jefferson Parish and Passport Health, will be administering the COVID-19 Moderna vaccine on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the Alario Center (2000 Segnette Blvd, Westwego, LA 70094) by appointment only

LANE CLOSURE: VETERANS MEMORIAL BOULEVARD

Starting Monday, March 29, 2021, one right turn lane westbound on Veterans Memorial Blvd. crossing N. Causeway Blvd. will be closed daily between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.

ROAD CLOSURE: I-10 OFF RAMP

Starting Sunday, March 28, 2021, at 7:00 a.m., the I-10 eastbound off-ramp to Veterans Blvd. will be closed.

LANE CLOSURES: WEST ESPLANADE AVENUE

Starting Friday, March 26, 2021, at 9:00 p.m., the left westbound lane of W. Esplanade Ave. at 3616 N. Causeway Blvd and one of the north to west left turn lanes will be closed on a continuous basis.

EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE W. NAPOLEON AVENUE

The eastbound lanes of W. Napoleon Avenue, between Clearview Parkway and Transcontinental Drive, are completely closed until further notice due to heavy rains which caused high pressures in the 66-inch regional force main that was temporarily patched while awaiting the necessary permanent repair components.

JEFFERSON PARISH PREPARES FOR HEAVY RAIN

According to the National Weather Service, periods of heavy rainfall could occur through Thursday evening, with rainfall totals of 5 to 8 inches. Isolated severe storms with damaging wind gusts in excess of 60 mph and hail are also possible all day today through Thursday.
