Jefferson Parish will begin providing free meals to seniors and those most vulnerable to COVID-19 on Monday, February 22, 2021, through a partnership with the federal government.

JEFFERSON, LA – The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) in collaboration with Jefferson Parish will be administering the COVID-19 Moderna vaccine on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021 at the Alario Center (2000 Segnette Blvd, Westwego, LA 70094) by appointment only.
The Alario Center COVID-19 drive-thru testing site is open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
JEFFERSON PARISH COUNCILMAN DOMINICK F. IMPASTATO, III HOSTS RIBBON CUTTING TO CELEBRATE UPGRADES TO THE WOODEN BRIDGES AT LAFRENIERE PARK
On Monday, Feb. 1, 2021, Councilman Dominick F. Impastato, III and Jefferson Parish officials hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of recent upgrades to the two wooden bridges in Lafreniere Park with a cost of $168,300.00.
