JEFFERSON PARISH WATER DEPARTMENT REPAIRS WATERLINE TO THE TOWN OF JEAN LAFITTE, CROWN POINT AND BARATARIA

The Jefferson Parish Water Department will be performing repairs on the 36” main waterline to the Town of Jean Laffite, Crown Point and Barataria starting tonight.

PONTIFF TENNIS COURTS CLOSED ON THURSDAY, MARCH 3 TO INSTALL PICKLEBALL LINES

The Pontiff Tennis Courts at Pontiff Playground will be close at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, Mar. 3, 2022 to install pickleball lines on the tennis court.

ROAD CLOSURE: LAPALCO BOULEVARD BRIDGE OVER BAYOU SEGNETTE

Starting Thursday, March 3, 2022, at 6 a.m., all lanes of Lapalco Boulevard over the Bayou Segnette Bridge will be closed in both directions on a continuous basis.

LANE CLOSURE: WEST METAIRIE AVENUE SOUTH BETWEEN ATHANIA PARKWAY AND CAUSEWAY BOULEVARD

Starting today, March 2, 2022 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., one lane at a time of eastbound W. Metairie Ave. South, between Athania Pkwy. and Causeway Blvd., will be closed.

PONTIFF TENNIS COURTS REOPENED FRIDAY, FEB. 25, 2022

The Pontiff Tennis Courts at Pontiff Playground reopened at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 25, 2022.

JEFFERSON PARISH OFFICES CLOSED MONDAY, FEB. 28 AND TUESDAY, MAR. 1, 2022 IN OBSERVANCE OF LUNDI GRAS AND MARDI GRAS HOLIDAY

All Jefferson Parish offices, including all Jefferson Parish libraries, will be closed on Monday, Feb. 28 and Tuesday, Mar. 1, 2022 in observance of the Lundi Gras and Mardi Gras holiday.

LANE CLOSURE: NINE MILE POINT ROAD AND WEST NINE MILE POINT ROAD

Starting Wednesday, February 23, 2022 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., weather permitting, one lane at a time of the entire length of Nine Mile Point Rd. and West Mile Point Rd. will be closed. 

PONTIFF TENNIS COURTS CLOSED DUE TO PRESSURE WASHING

The Pontiff Tennis Courts at Pontiff Playground will be closed due to pressure washing and will reopen on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.

Jefferson Parish will be hosting a supply drive for residents who were impacted by the three-alarm fire that displaced nine families from a Metairie apartment complex on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022.
