DEPARTMENT OF PROPERTY MAINTENANCE ZONING
& QUALITY OF LIFE ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF SWEEP

JEFFERSON, LA - The Jefferson Parish Department of Property Maintenance Zoning & Quality of Life conducted a sweep in Council District 5 on Thursday, February 17, 2022. The streets included in the sweep were Division Ave., Edenborn Ave., 15th St., 14th St., Hessmer Ave., Melvil Dewey St., and Veterans Blvd. Property Maintenance issued five citations to properties for various violations, including structures in disrepair, high grass and weeds, and junk and debris. Ten vehicles were tagged for removal.
