JEFFERSON PARISH OFFICES CLOSED MONDAY, FEB. 28 AND
TUESDAY, MAR. 1, 2022 IN OBSERVANCE OF LUNDI GRAS AND MARDI GRAS HOLIDAY
Garbage Will Not Be Collected in Unincorporated Jefferson Parish on Mar. 1;
Recycling will take placed as scheduled

JEFFERSON, LA - All Jefferson Parish offices, including all Jefferson Parish libraries, will be closed on Monday, Feb. 28 and Tuesday, Mar. 1, 2022 in observance of the Lundi Gras and Mardi Gras holiday. Parc des Familles will be closed on Mardi Gras Day (Tuesday, Mar. 1) and will reopen on Wednesday, Mar. 2, 2022 for normal operations.

There will be no garbage collection on Mardi Gras Day (Tuesday, Mar. 1) for residents of unincorporated Jefferson Parish. There will be no make-up day for the missed garbage pick-up on Mardi Gras Day; the next collection day for those scheduled to have garbage pick-up on Tuesdays will be Friday, Mar. 4, 2022. All four Parish trash drop-off sites and the Jefferson Parish Landfill will be closed on Mardi Gras Day and will reopen on Wednesday, Mar. 2, 2022. Additionally, COVID-19 testing and vaccines at the Alario Center will be suspended Monday, Feb. 28 - Tuesday, Mar. 1 and will resume operations on Wednesday, Mar. 2, 2022. For more information about testing and vaccinations, visit COVID.JeffParish.net.
