LANE CLOSURE - CENTRAL AVENUE

JEFFERSON, LA - Starting on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, the northbound lane of Central Ave. between Karen Ave. and Airline Hwy. will be closed.

GOV. EDWARDS ANNOUNCES AGGRESSIVE MEASURES TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF COVID-19

JEFFERSON, LA – Today, Gov. John Bel Edwards took additional significant measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Louisiana, further limiting the size of gatherings to fewer than 50 people, closing casinos, bars and movie theaters and limiting restaurants to delivery, take out and drive-through orders only.

JEFFERSON PARISH AIMS TO SLOW THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 IN THE COMMUNITY

JEFFERSON, LA – On Friday, March 13, 2020, Governor John Bel Edwards signed a proclamation that among other actions immediately halts any gathering of more than 250 people until Monday, April 13 and closes all K-12 public schools statewide effective Monday, March 16 resuming Monday, April 13, as Louisiana seeks to slow the spread of COVID-19 in the state.
