The northbound lane of Mississippi Ave., between 27th St. and Fulton St., will be closed until 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, weather permitting.
LANE CLOSURE: MANHATTAN BOULEVARD
The right southbound lane at 1342 Manhattan Blvd., will be closed until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2022, weather permitting.

The Jefferson Parish Department of Environmental Affairs will collect household hazardous materials (HHM) from Jefferson Parish residents on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
JEFFERSON PARISH COUNCIL ANNOUNCES PROJECTS FOR THE $84 MILLION IN AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN (ARP) FUNDING
The Jefferson Parish Council has announced projects to be funded by the American Rescue Plan, an act of Congress that gave state and local governments funding to mitigate the significant negative financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
LANE CLOSURE: WEST ESPLANADE AVENUE
Starting on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, one eastbound lane of W. Esplanade Ave. between Transcontinental Dr. and Causeway Blvd. will be closed from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.
LANE CLOSURE: TERRY PARKWAY
Starting on Monday, May 16, 2022, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., certain locations of Terry Pkwy. will be closed, one lane at a time.
ROAD CLOSURE: CRAIG AVENUE
Starting at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022, both lanes of Craig Ave. between Asher St. and Kawanee Ave. will be closed on a continuous basis. Motorists will detour using Asher St. to Elmwood Pkwy. back to Kawanee Ave.
LANE CLOSURE: FRISCO AVENUE
Starting on Monday, May 16, 2022, both lanes of Frisco Ave., between Aris Ave. and Metairie Rd. will be closed on a continuous basis.
JEFFERSON PARISH ANNOUNCES 2022 ENVIRONMENTAL AWARD RECIPIENTS AT THE 22ND ANNUAL STORMWATER POSTER AND ESSAY AWARDS CEREMONY
The Jefferson Parish Department of Environmental Affairs announced the winners of the 2022 Non-Point Source Stormwater Pollution and Solutions Poster and Essay Contest, as well as the High School Sewer Science Program and the Stormwater Leadership Awards at a ceremony on May 6, 2022 held at the Lafreniere Park Foundation Center in Metairie.
