The Jefferson Parish Department of Property Maintenance Zoning Quality of Life conducted a sweep in Council District 4 on Thursday, June16, 2022.

LANE CLOSURE: WEST ESPLANADE

Starting at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, June 20, 2022, one lane at a time of West Esplanade, near N. Hullen St., will be closed.

JEFFERSON PARISH OFFICES CLOSED ON FRI. JUNE 17 IN OBSERVANCFE OF JUNETEENTH HOLIDAY

All Jefferson Parish offices, including all Jefferson Parish libraries and JPAWS, will be closed on Friday, June 17, 2022 in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.

JEFFERSON PARISH RECOGNIZES HEALTHY HOMES MONTH

June is National Healthy Homes Month (NHHM), created by HUD’s Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes (OLHCHH), to help people connect the dots between their health and their homes.

DEPARTMENT OF PROPERTY MAINTENANCE, ZONING QUALITY OF LIFE TO CONDUCT SWEEP

The Jefferson Parish Department of Property Maintenance, Zoning/Quality of Life (PMZ) will be conducting a sweep within the geographical boundaries of Council District 4 on the East Bank of Jefferson Parish on Thursday, June 16, 2022 in an effort to address property violations for quality of life enforcement.

JEFFERSON PROTECTION & ANIMAL WELFARE SERVICES HOSTS RABIES VACCINATION DRIVE

In conjunction with the Southeast Louisiana Veterinary Association and the Jefferson SPCA, Jefferson Protection & Animal Welfare Services (JPAWS) will be hosting a Jefferson Parish Rabies Vaccination Drive on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. at the Alario Center (2000 Segnette Blvd., Westwego, LA 70094).

LANE CLOSURES: LITTLE FARMS AVENUE, CELESTE AVENUE AND STEWART AVENUE

Starting at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, June 13, 2022, the following streets will have one northbound lane closed between Jefferson Hwy. and the Railroad Tracks past Russell St.: Little Farms Ave., Celeste Ave., and Stewart Ave.

LANE CLOSURE: BARATARIA BOULEVARD

On Saturday, June 11, 2022, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., one eastbound lane at 2805 Barataria Blvd. will be closed.
