JEFFERSON, LA – A partir de este viernes 5 de junio de 2020, la Parroquia de Jefferson se trasladará a la Fase Dos, que sigue la guía COVID-19 de la Casa Blanca, permitiendo que se abran negocios adicionales bajo estrictas pautas de ocupación, protección y distanciamiento social.

NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS OF UNINCORPORATED JEFFERSON PARISH AND THE TOWN OF JEAN LAFITTE:

JEFFERSON, LA – To ensure that large bulky waste is not left curbside in the event that garbage collection is cancelled due to Tropical Storm Cristobal, Jefferson Parish is urging residents to limit the items that they place at the curb on Friday and Saturday to household garbage and trash.

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at 8:30 a.m., there will be intermittent partial turn lane and U-turn closures on N. Causeway Blvd. between 20th St. and 8th St.

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting this Friday, June 5, 2020, Jefferson Parish will move to Phase Two, which follows the White House COVID-19 guidance allowing additional businesses to open under strict occupancy, protection and social distancing guidelines.

JEFFERSON, LA – Jefferson Parish is monitoring Tropical Storm Cristobal, moving southwest at 3 mph over the Bay of Campeche. Cristobal became a tropical storm after achieving wind speeds of 40 mph.
