ROAD CLOSURE:
OAKWOOD DRIVE AT GUARDIAN AVENUE

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 9 a.m., Oakwood Drive will be closed on the east side of the canal at Guardian Avenue in Terrytown. Motorists should detour around the area by using Morningside Drive or Mystic Avenue.

This closure is necessary to install a new pedestrian bridge at a cost of $144,180. Work is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 4 p.m., weather permitting.
