ROAD CLOSURE
INTERSECTION OF KAWANEE AVENUE AND LIME STREET

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 9 a.m., all lanes in both directions will be closed at the intersection of Kawanee Avenue and Lime Street in Metairie.

Motorists traveling west on Kawanee should detour at Clearview Parkway to either West Esplanade Avenue or Veterans Boulevard. Motorists traveling east on Kawanee will turn right on Harvard Avenue and left on Loveland Street to Clearview.

This closure is necessary to install a drain pipe as part of an ongoing $6,541,975 drainage improvement project. Work is scheduled to be completed by Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 3 p.m., weather permitting.
