ROAD CLOSURE
17TH STREET BETWEEN SEVERN AVENUE AND CAUSEWAY BOULEVARD
JEFFERSON, LA – Starting Tuesday, June 6, 2023, all four lanes of 17th Street between Severn Avenue and Causeway Boulevard will be closed nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Traffic will be detoured to Veterans Boulevard or West Esplanade Avenue.
This closure is necessary to resurface the roadway at a cost of $454,942. Work is scheduled to be completed by Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 6 a.m., weather permitting.
