NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS OF UNINCORPORATED
JEFFERSON PARISH AND THE TOWN OF JEAN LAFITTE:

LABOR DAY GARBAGE COLLECTION NOTICE

JEFFERSON, LA – There will be no garbage collection in unincorporated Jefferson Parish and the Town of Jean Lafitte on Monday, September 7, 2020. Curbside recycling collection will take place, as scheduled on Monday, September 7, 2020. Residents normally scheduled to have garbage pick-up on a Monday will not have their garbage picked up until Thursday, September 10, 2020. There will be no make-up day for the missed holiday collection.

The Jefferson Parish Landfill will remain closed, until further notice. All four Trash Drop-Off sites will close on Monday, September 7, 2020 and will re-open for business on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Residents wishing to dispose of garbage/trash between curbside collections are reminded that all Parish Trash Drop-Off sites are open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. (daylight savings hours), except for designated holidays.
