NOTICE TO RESIDENTS OF UNINCORPORATED JEFFERSON PARISH AND THE TOWN OF JEAN LAFITTE

No Garbage Collection on Mardi Gras Day, Tuesday, February 25, 2020

Curbside Recycling to Take Place as Scheduled

JEFFERSON, LA – There will be no garbage collection in unincorporated Jefferson Parish or in the town of Jean Lafitte on Mardi Gras, Tuesday, February 25, 2020. Curbside recycling will take place as scheduled. There will be no make-up day for the missed collection; the next collection date is February 28, 2020.

All four Parish trash drop-off sites and the Jefferson Parish Landfill will be closed on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 and will re-open for business on Wednesday, February 26, 2020. All non-emergency Parish Offices will be closed on Monday, February 24, 2020 and Tuesday, February 25, 2020 in observance of the Mardi Gras Day Holiday.
