LANE CLOSURES
SEVERN AVENUE
Between Veterans Blvd. and W. Esplanade Ave.

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting Wednesday, February 17, 2021 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., one northbound lane and one southbound lane of Severn Ave. will be closed daily. Between the night hours of 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., two northbound lanes and two southbound lanes of Severn Ave. will be closed. Motorists will use open lanes for travel.

The closure is necessary for subsurface drainage installation, concrete roadway removal and replacement as part of the $11.6 million dollar project. Work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, November 5, 2021 at 5:00 a.m., weather permitting.
