LANE CLOSURES:
LAPALCO BOULEVARD
Between Fairfield Avenue and Marlene Drive

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting Wednesday, February 21, 2024, the following segments of Lapalco Boulevard between Fairfield Avenue and Marlene Drive will be closed:

Wednesday, February 21 through Friday, March 1: The left and center lanes of westbound and eastbound Lapalco Boulevard, then the right and center lanes will be closed daily from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. These closures are required to repair the asphalt at a cost of $81,180. Work is scheduled to be completed by 6 a.m. on Thursday, February 22, weather permitting.
Thursday, February 22 through Friday, March 1: From Thursday, February 22 through Monday, February 26, the right lane of eastbound Lapalco Boulevard will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Tuesday, February 27, the left lane of westbound Lapalco Boulevard will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. These closures are necessary to replace broken curbs at a cost of $12,320. Work is scheduled to be completed by 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, weather permitting.
