LANE CLOSURE
WEST METAIRIE AVENUE
JEFFERSON, LA – Starting Monday, September 28, 2020, at 9:00 a.m., the westbound lane of W. Metairie Ave., nearest to the canal, between Clearview Pkwy. And Transcontinental Dr. will be closed on a continuous basis.
Motorists traveling westbound on W. Metairie Ave. will use the open lane for travel.
The closure is necessary for sweeping of the canal bottom at a cost of $8,000. Work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, October 23, 2020 at 2:00 p.m., weather permitting.
