Starting on Monday, January 27, 2020, the left northbound lane of Bainbridge Street between Canal #14 and Veterans Boulevard in Metairie will close at 9:00 a.m. The right northbound lane will remain open for thru traffic. The closure is necessary for the East Bank Drainage Department to sweep and remove debris from the canal at an estimated cost of $12,000. Work is scheduled to be completed by Monday, February 10, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. weather permitting.
