JEFFERSON TRANSIT SUSPENDS SERVICE ON MONDAY, AUG. 24 DUE TO
HURRICANE MARCO AND TROPICAL STORM LAURA

JEFFERSON, LA – On Monday, August 24, Jefferson Transit will suspend all services for both MITS and fixed routes ahead of Hurricane Marco and Tropical Storm Laura. Jefferson Transit continues to monitor the weather and will update the public on further service changes as they happen.
