JEFFERSON PARISH TO CONDUCT AERIAL SPRAYING FOR MOSQUITOS THIS EVENING IN METAIRIE

JEFFERSON, LA – In response to mosquito activity, aerial spraying is scheduled to take place on the East Bank of Jefferson Parish this evening (Monday, July 1, 2024) over parts of Metairie.

Low-level aerial spraying will take place from 8 to 11 p.m. in the areas between West Esplanade Avenue, West Metairie Avenue, Williams Boulevard and Clearview Parkway. If weather conditions force the cancellation of the scheduled flights, aerial spraying will take place on the first subsequent evening weather conditions permit.
