JEFFERSON PARISH REMINDS NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT
THE DEADLINE TO APPLY FOR FUNDING IS ON FEB. 5, 2021

CDBG, HOME, HESG and CPD Cares Act Funding is Available in the Estimated Amount of $7,300,000

JEFFERSON, LA – The Jefferson Parish Department of Community Development (JPDCD) has a Friday, February 5, 2021 deadline for its 2021 Grant Application Period for nonprofit organizations. JPDCD is seeking partners to administer eligible CDBG, HOME, HESG and Coronavirus CPD CARES Act funding (CDBG-CV and HESG-CV).

The annual HUD Entitlement Program funds eligible activities including Public Services, Housing, Economic Development and Public Infrastructure. The CARES Act provides funds that include these eligible activities as long as they prevent, prepare for and/or respond to the coronavirus and/or assist those individuals and households negatively economically impacted by the coronavirus.
