JEFFERSON PARISH PREPARES FOR NOV. 13, 2021 ELECTION
In-Person Early Voting for Lafitte, Crown Point and Barataria on Nov. 4

JEFFERSON, LA – The Open Primary Election is on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Voters are encouraged to go to the polls or cast an early vote. Early voting is taking place now until Nov. 6, every day from 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Early voting is conducted by the Jefferson Parish Registrar of Voters Office. Voters registered in Jefferson Parish may cast an early vote at any of the following locations: the Joseph S. Yenni Building (1221 Elmwood Park Blvd. in Harahan), Charles B. Odom Building (5001 West Bank Expressway in Marrero), the Kenner-Rivertown Registrar of Voters Office (408 Minor St. in Kenner), and the Westbank Regional Library (2751 Manhattan Blvd. in Harvey).

There will also be one day of in-person early voting for Lafitte, Crown Point and Barataria, which will take place at the Jean Lafitte Auditorium (4953 City Park St., Jean Lafitte, LA 70067) on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Voters can request an absentee ballot online through the Louisiana Secretary of State’s Voter Portal or by contacting the Jefferson Parish Registrar of Voters Office; the deadline for the Registrar of Voters to receive a voted mail ballot is Nov. 9, 2021 by 4:30 p.m. (other than military and overseas voters). Absentee ballot drop-off boxes will be available at the Jefferson Parish early voting locations.
