JEFFERSON PARISH PLANNING ADVISORY BOARD (PAB) HOLDS IN-PERSON EAST BANK PUBLIC HEARING ON TUESDAY, JUNE 23, 2020 AT 5 P.M.

JEFFERSON, LA – The Jefferson Parish Planning Advisory Board (PAB)’s East Bank Public Hearing of June 18, 2020 was cancelled due to technical difficulties. PAB has rescheduled this meeting to take place on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. in the East Bank Council Chambers at the Joseph S. Yenni Building (1221 Elmwood Park, Blvd, Elmwood, LA 70123).

For residents planning to attend the meeting, the following will be required due to COVID-19 precautious and the health and safety of all employees and visitors:

  • Everyone will be required to undergo a temperature screening prior to entering the building. All that do not meet the temperature screening protocol, with a fever of 100.0 or higher, will not be allowed entry.
     
  • Everyone will be required to wear a mask or cloth face covering when entering the building and while in the Council Chambers. Anyone not wearing a mask or face covering will not be allowed entry, will be asked to put one on or asked to leave.
     
  • There will be seating restrictions inside the Council Chambers to practice safe social distancing (6-ft space between seats). Floor decals will be placed in the aisle for those speaking to make sure all maintain proper social distancing. The Council Chambers will be retrofitted with Plexiglass dividers in certain areas to also help protect those in attendance.
