JEFFERSON PARISH PARTNERS WITH INCLUSIVCARE AND SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK TO PROVIDE FREE COVID-19 TESTING

AND A FOOD GIVEAWAY AT TRUE VINE BAPTIST CHURCH ON FRIDAY, JUNE 26

JEFFERSON, LA – Jefferson Parish Councilman Deano Bonano (District 2), in partnership with InclusivCare, Second Harvest Food Bank and the Westwego Police Department, will provide free COVID-19 mobile testing and a food giveaway on Friday, June 26, 2020 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at True Vine Baptist Church, 249 Sala Ave. Westwego, LA.

Walk-up testing is available for anyone who wants to determine their COVID-19 status. Testing at this site is also available to children, age 10 and older. Members of the community who wish to be tested should bring a form of identification and insurance card, if applicable. There are no out-of-pocket costs for those seeking a test and no one will be turned away based on their insurance status.
