JEFFERSON PARISH PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT (JPRD)
TO LIVE-STREAM CHAMPIONSHIP TRACK MEET ON MARCH 20TH

JEFFERSON, LA – The Jefferson Parish Parks & Recreation Department (JPRD) will hold its Championship Track Meet at the Joe Yenni Stadium tomorrow, Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The track meet will be professionally live-streamed with announcers highlighting the running events. Individuals can tune in virtually at www.varsitysportsnow.com/videos/jprd-track-meet.

According to JPRD Director Mario Bazile, “Live-streaming the Parish Track Championship is a first for the JPRD track program and an example of how we continue to take things to the next level! This will allow interested individuals, near and far, to access the feed and see some very talented athletes from around Jefferson Parish compete for individual and team titles. Special thanks to JPRD Administrator Brad Roth and his Athletics' Division for making this happen!”
