JEFFERSON PARISH LIFTS BOIL WATER ADVISORY FOR JEAN LAFITTE, LOWER LAFITTE, CROWN POINT AND BARATARIA

JEFFERSON, LA - In conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Health, the Jefferson Parish Water Department is lifting the Boil Water Advisory today, March 5, 2022, for the Town of Jean Lafitte, Lower Lafitte, Crown Point and Barataria on the West Bank of Jefferson Parish. This is being lifted based on the analysis of the bacteriological samples collected within the distribution system on March 4, 2022.

Customers in the affected area may now use the water without boiling or disinfecting. No more precautionary actions are necessary.
