JEFFERSON PARISH COUNCIL MEETING WILL TAKE PLACE IN GRAND ISLE

ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 22, 2020 AT 11:00 A.M.

JEFFERSON, LA - The next Jefferson Parish council meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., will take place in Grand Isle at the Grand Isle Multiplex (3101 LA-1, Grand Isle, LA 70358). CLICK HERE for the agenda.

For residents planning to attend the Jefferson Parish council meeting, the following will be required due to COVID-19 precautions and the health and safety of all employees and visitors:

  • Everyone will be required to undergo a temperature screening prior to entering the building. All that do not meet the temperature screening protocol, with a fever of 100.0 or higher, will not be allowed entry.

  • Everyone will be required to wear a mask or cloth face covering when entering the Grand Isle Multiplex. Anyone not wearing a mask or face covering will not be allowed entry and will be asked to put one on or asked to leave.

  • There will be seating restrictions to practice safe social distancing (6-ft space between seats), as well as limited seating inside the Grand Isle Multiplex. The Multiplex will be retrofitted with Plexiglass dividers in certain areas to also help protect those in attendance.

  • Those attending wishing to speak in person will be required to fill out a public comment request card.
