JEFFERSON PARISH CHARTER ADVISORY BOARD TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETINGS TO
ALLOW FOR INPUT ON THE BOARD’S RECOMMENDATIONS TO JEFFERSON PARISH COUNCIL

JEFFERSON, LA - The Jefferson Parish Charter Advisory Board will be hosting two public meetings to allow for input on the Board’s recommendations to the Jefferson Parish Council.

The first meeting will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 4 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Joseph S. Yenni Building (2nd floor Council Chambers), located at 1221 Elmwood Park Blvd. in Harahan. The second meeting, which will be streamed live on JPTV (Channel 6 on Cox and Channel 99 on AT&T Uverse) and the Jefferson Parish website, www.JeffParish.tv/live, will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 5 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Jefferson Parish General Government Building (2nd flood Council Chambers), located at 200 Derbigny St. in Gretna.

The Charter Advisory Board has met over the past year and has prepared a draft of its recommendations to the Jefferson Parish Council for amendments to the Jefferson Parish Charter.
