JEFFERSON PARISH ANNOUNCES U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD), CDBG, HOME, HOME ARP AND
HESG FUNDING FOR NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING DEVELOPERS IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $7,000,000

Deadline for Applications is January 12, 2024

JEFFERSON, LA – The Jefferson Parish Department of Community Development is pleased to announce the opening of the Fiscal Year 2024 Action Plan application period for Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME), HOME ARP and Emergency Solutions Grant (HESG) programs to fund non-profit organizations and affordable housing developers in the estimated amount of $7,000,000.

Annual U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funded eligible activities for CDBG, HOME and HESG Programs include: Public Services, Housing, Economic Development, and Public Infrastructure. For HOME-ARP, the funds must serve qualifying populations of individuals and families experiencing homelessness, those at risk of homelessness, domestic violence and human trafficking victims.

For those interested, a public meeting will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. in room 405 of the Joseph S. Yenni Building.

The deadline to submit applications for non-profit organizations and affordable housing developers is Friday, January 12, 2024.
