JEFFERSON PARISH ANNOUNCES 2020 HOME DEVELOPER’S PROGRAM SESSION
JEFFERSON, LA – The Jefferson Parish Department of Community Development is pleased to announce the opening of its 2020 HOME Developer’s Program session on Tuesday, August 18, 2020. Jefferson Parish has been designated as a Participating Jurisdiction for the HOME Program funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and, as such, has designated a portion of its HOME funds for use in its HOME Developer’s Program.
According to the Director of Jefferson Parish Department of Community Development Nicole Fontenot, “The mission of Jefferson Parish Department of Community Development is to make Jefferson Parish a better place to live by supporting community efforts to preserve and expand affordable housing, home ownership and economic opportunities, and to provide equal access to safe, decent and affordable housing.”
The 2020 HOME Developer’s Program will be administered by the Jefferson Parish Department of Community Development. HOME Developer projects may be one or more buildings on a single site, or multiple sites that are under common ownership, management and financing. Currently, Jefferson Parish Department of Community Development is accepting applications.
