GRAND ISLE ISSUES MANDATORY EVACUATION AHEAD OF
TROPICAL STORM MARCO AND TROPICAL STORM LAURA

GRAND ISLE, LA – Mayor of Grand Isle David Camardelle has issued a mandatory evacuation for Grand Isle due to Tropical Storm Marco and Tropical Storm Laura. The order goes into effect at 9 a.m. CST Sunday, August 23, 2020. Curfew will begin at 9 p.m. Grand Isle Police Department will be patrolling.

The National Hurricane Center has issued hurricane and storm surge watches. For more information, visit www.hurricanes.gov.
