FINAL PASS OF DEBRIS REMOVAL IN UNINCORPORATED AREAS OF
UPPER JEFFERSON PARISH CURRENTLY UNDERWAY

JEFFERSON, LA – The final pass for curbside collection of Hurricane Ida storm-related debris is now underway and will remain in effect through December 20, 2021. One final pass will occur on every street for debris that was placed curbside prior to November 30, 2021.

A Hotline has been established to facilitate the timely removal of material. Residents may call 1-888-699-1002 to report a debris pile and obtain information between the hours of 8 a.m. through 5 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Residents are asked to continue to separate household garbage from vegetative debris and construction demolition debris.

Please note that storm debris collection will continue in areas outside of the hurricane protection levee, including Lafitte and Barataria until further notice.
