EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE
METAIRIE ROAD AT ATHERTON DRIVE
JEFFERSON, LA JEFFERSON, LA – Starting at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, Thursday, June 25, 2020, there will be a complete closure of both lanes of Metairie Rd. at Atherton Dr.
Motorists traveling eastbound on Metairie Rd. will be detoured around the closure using Helios Ave. to Codifer Blvd. to Beverly Garden Dr. and back to Metairie Rd.
Motorists traveling westbound on Metairie Rd. will be detoured around the closure using Beverly Garden Dr. to Codifer Blvd. to Bonnabel Blvd. and back to Metairie Rd.
The closure is necessary to repair the roadway due to a drain line failure. RAM-J is performing the work at an estimated cost of $12,000. The roadway will be closed until repairs are made and should be completed by 6:00 p.m., June 25, 2020, weather permitting.
