DEPARTMENT OF PROPERTY MAINTENANCE,
ZONING QUALITY OF LIFE ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF SWEEP
JEFFERSON, LA – The Department of Property Maintenance Zoning Quality of Life (PMZ) conducted a sweep on the East Bank in Council District 5 on Thursday, December 17, 2020.
The streets included in the sweep were Houma Blvd., Independence St., Kingman St. and Pasadena Ave.
PMZ issued 23 citations to properties for various violations, including structures in disrepair, high grass and weeds and inoperable vehicles. Sixteen vehicles were tagged for removal.
