CELEBRATE FOURTH OF JULY AT UNCLE SAM JAM
JEFFERSON, LA – Come out and celebrate America’s 246th birthday at Uncle Sam Jam on the Al Copeland Meadows in Lafreniere Park on Sunday, July 3, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. (gates opening at 2:00 p.m.). Admission into Uncle Sam Jam is free, featuring a full schedule of live music and a firework show to close out the night – CLICK HERE to view the musical lineup.
For a VIP experience, a Stars & Stripes Pass, which includes parking inside the gates for one (1) vehicle, four (4) VIP wristbands, premium stage viewing, private cash bar and private comfort station/restroom, is available for $50.00 – CLICK HERE to purchase a pass; CLICK HERE to view the parking map. For general parking, which includes parking inside the park for one (1) vehicle, is available for $10.00 (spaces are limited) – CLICK HERE to purchase a pass; CLICK HERE to view the parking map. Free parking is available, first come first serve, at the Shrine on Airline. A shuttle service will be available to and from Uncle Sam Jam – CLICK HERE to view a map of pick-up and drop-off spots.
“Uncle Sam Jam is a tradition to which Jefferson Parish residents and visitors have become accustomed”, said Councilman Dominick Impastato. “We are ecstatic to again celebrate our independence at this free, family event in Lafreniere Park. Thank you to all of our partners, sponsors and parish staff for helping to put this on year after year for the enjoyment of our community.”
There will be many food and drink vendors, which include: Cayenne Seafood Specialties, Copeland’s Mobile Kitchen, Frytastic!, Nola Boils, Don’s Seafood, Plum Street Snoballs, The Frying Station, Rosa’s Cocina, Rollin’ Mamas Egg Rolls, Couzans BBQ Team, Big Easy Treats/Dippin’ Dots, Fat Boy’s Pizza and the official concessionaire is Messina’s Catering & Events, selling Coca-Cola products. Please note, the Lafreniere dog park, spray park and carousel will not be open on Sunday, July 3, 2022. To serve the walkers of Lafreniere Park, walk-in gates will be open at Downs Blvd., Judith St., Madewood Dr., and W. Napoleon Ave., near Sunrise Swim Club, from 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
