AERIAL SPRAYING FOR MOSQUITOES

JEFFERSON, LA – Aerial spraying in response to mosquito activity is scheduled to take place on the East and West Banks of Jefferson Parish on the evening of October 30, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. over portions of Metairie, Kenner, Old Jefferson, River Ridge, Harahan, Westwego and Lafitte/Barataria, weather conditions permitting.

EAST BANK AREAS:

AREA #1:
Metairie/Kenner Spraying will take place over the area north of Joe Yenni Blvd., south of I-10 Hwy., West of St. Charles Parish Line and East of Loyola Dr.

AREA #2:
Metairie: Spraying will take place over the area north of I-10 Hwy., South of Airline Hwy., West of David Dr. and East of Transcontinental Dr.

AREA #3:
Old Jefferson/Metairie: Spraying will take place over the area north of Earhart Expressway, South of the Mississippi River, West of S. Clearview Pkwy. and East of Deckbar Ave.

AREA #4:
River Ridge/Harahan: Spraying will take place over the area North of Jefferson Hwy., South of the Mississippi River, West of Tullulah Ave. and East of Hickory Ave.

WEST BANK AREAS:

AREA #5:
Lafitte: Spraying will take place over the area North of Fleming Curve near Palmetto St., South end of Jean Lafitte near Kenal Rd./Orange Ave., East of Marsh and West of Marsh

AREA #6:
Westwego: Spraying will take place over the area North of Hwy. 90, South of Marsh, West of Bayou Segnette State Park and East of Barataria Blvd.

AREA #7:
Barataria/Estelle: Spraying will take place over the area North of Barataria Blvd., South of Jean Lafitte State Park, West of Barataria Blvd. and East of Barataria Blvd.

If weather conditions on the evening force the cancelling of the scheduled flights, aerial spraying will take place on the first subsequent evening on which weather conditions permit.
